Evie T. Joselow, Ph.D. is an art historian, researcher and
lecturer. She was awarded her Ph.D. in art history from The Graduate
School of The City University of New York, May 1998, having received
her B.A. in art history from Vassar College. Dr. Joselow served
as the Chief of Research at the Commission for Art Recovery, an
organization established to identify and locate art looted by the
Nazis. She is now an independent consultant, specializing in provenance
research and collection management issues for Museums and private
collectors. Dr. Joselow also teaches design history at the New York
School of Interior Design, and courses on New York City art and
architecture at New York University. She has been the recipient
of many research fellowships for study in the United States and
abroad and has lectured and published widely on art and architectural
subjects.
