Leanne Zalewski is currently a student in the Ph.D. program in Art History at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, specializing in nineteenth-century European painting and sculpture. She received her Masters degree in Art History from Hunter College, City University of New York, and served as a research assistant on the recently published text by Petra ten-Doesschate Chu, Nineteenth-Century European Art (New York: Harry N. Abrams, 2002).
