Brian Edward Hack: Bio

Brian Edward Hack is a adjunct lecturer at Kingsborough Community College and an affiliated instructor at Hofstra University. His lectures, "Art and Architecture Before and After Darwin," and "Pageantry and Pathos: Public Sculpture in Beaux-Arts New York," will be featured during Hofstra's fall 2000 lecture series. Mr. Hack recently presented a paper on the sculptural program of the 1899 Dewey Arch at the annual conference of the Northeast Popular Culture Association. He holds a B.A. in Art History from Juniata College and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York.
