Raphy Sarkissian: Bio
Raphy Sarkissian is an artist who is currently
pursuing his Ph.D. in art history at The Graduate Center. Following
his M.A. in Studio Arts at New York University, he exhibited /copies/
of Sherrie Levine's monochromes of Yves Klein, which he titled through
excerpts from the essay "Bachelors" of Professor Rosalind Krauss.
During summer 2000 he was a guest professor at State University
of New York at New Paltz. He is thankful to Professor Laurie Schneider
Adams for her close reading of, and numerous suggestions for, earlier
drafts of this essay.
