Anastasia Easterday: Bio Anastasia Easterday received her Ph.D. degree from UCLA, and is teaching at Southwest Texas State, San Marcos. Her current research stems from her dissertation work on 19th-century French Women Sculptors, and includes the article "Labeur, Honneur, Douleur: Sculptors Julie Charpentier, Félicie de Fauveau, and Marie d'Orléans," from the Woman's Art Journal (Fall 1997/Winter 1998). She has also more recently written reviews on contemporary women sculptors Jill Bedgood and Virginia Fleck for Women and Their Work Gallery in Austin, Texas.
